When I started as Operator Collective’s Founder in Residence, I wanted to connect founders with the world’s best operators to help both groups succeed in outsize ways. I set out with two goals:
- Give founders real, practical opportunities to get rich feedback from potential customers
- Tap into Operator Collective’s incredible community of operators to help founders learn faster and succeed more, and give operators early insight into the technologies that will reshape work over the next decade
To this end, on February 12, 2025, we’re holding Operator Collective’s inaugural Technical Product Showcase in partnership with Orrick and hosted at OpCo PortCo Ironclad’s HQ in San Francisco. This new program is designed to help founders build real enterprise customer relationships and give senior operators an inside track on the most exciting emerging technologies.
We have carefully selected technical leaders from the C-Suite and senior engineering decision-makers who purchase software on behalf of their organizations. For these expert operators, the Technical Product Showcase offers the chance to learn about the most important, cutting-edge product and technology innovations happening in the startup ecosystem.
We’re offering eight startup teams the chance to spend meaningful time with this expert group in the Technical Product Showcase. The teams selected to participate will walk away with invaluable feedback, off-the-record insights, and long-term relationships with potential customers.
OpCo’s Technical Product Showcase is by application and invite-only. The half-day event will include:
1. Moderated panel of 6-8 senior technical leaders who will share their expertise and concrete insights, including:
- Pratima Arora: Chief Product and Technology Officer, Chainalysis
- Ann Funai: CIO, VP Business Platform Transformation, IBM
- Claire Hough: Chief Technology Officer, Getlabs
- Abby Kearns: Chief Technology Officer, Alembic

2. Individual sessions for each participating startup to present their technology and solution to senior technical leaders for feedback
3. Valuable networking and relationship-building
